Moreover, a regular-sized tablet is generally relatively large, and it is inconvenient and sometimes impossible to put it in a very small woman bag, especially which increases the weight.

Advantages
Why is it convenient?
So, I considered the 8.0-inch phablet, which is a combination of a smartphone and a tablet, which has the functions of a smartphone and various advantages of a tablet. An 8.0-inch phablet, especially the ultra-thin one, weighs almost the same as a smartphone and is very portable. Reading on the phablet is like reading a book, which is very convenient.
The 8.0-inch phablet can also be used as a GPS, which will greatly facilitate navigation during travel. When there are some complicated road sections, I will not miss some intersections that need to be turned because the 8.0-inch large screen can easily check the details. If I search for relevant information during travel, it is equivalent to having a miniature computer, which is very convenient to operate.
Convenience for travel
I have used a phablet for 5 years, and I really feel it is very convenient when traveling, especially on trains, planes, and road trips, where its advantages will be more fully reflected. Take it out of the woman’s small bag at any time to read books, see movies, send and receive emails, write some content, search for information, and use it as a navigation, which greatly enriches the things that can be done during travel, and makes full use of some scattered time.
Some people may say that if you want to read a book, you can use a kindle. But this means that in addition to carrying a smartphone, I must also carry a kindle with me. Every additional electronic device will be an extra burden during travel, and it is also necessary to consider whether to bring related charging equipment. Instead, the phablet can be temporarily used as a kindle during travel, which is equivalent to a multifunctional device.
Since the 8.0-inch phablet feels like carrying a tiny computer with me, many tasks that need to be solved on the computer or tablet will be more inclined to be completed directly on it, which will greatly improve efficiency and reduce procrastination.
Disadvantages
Phablets also have their inconveniences, mainly in everyday life. If I don’t use a Bluetooth headset when answering many calls, it will be a bit awkward to answer calls when holding so big size screen next to my face.
When going out to take the subway, most of the time there are too many people and there are no seats available on the subway. It is difficult to operate a phablet with only one hand, which will cause a lot of inconveniences. Since the size of 8.0 inches occupy some space, when placing a phablet at will, some places are too small to fit it. So, there is no way to put it on a certain little corner of the table, there must be a small space available for it.
Advantages and Disadvantages of 6.8-inch smartphone
In addition to the convenience of travel, due to some inconveniences in daily life, after using a phablet for 5 years, I reluctantly gave up and chose a 6.8-inch large-screen smartphone when replacing the old phablet.
When buying a new smartphone, I also considered smartphones with a screen size of 6 inches and below, but I found that after using an 8.0-inch phablet, I could hardly bear smartphone with a small screen. Because when reading on a small size screen, I feel that I have lost the fun of reading a book.
Advantages
The 6.8-inch mobile phone also has great advantages. Though the 6.8-inch smartphone belongs to a large-screen group but can be operated with one hand. After freeing one hand, it can be taken out to answer calls and view information at any time on the subway or in crowded places. Reading some books on a phone of this size, my eyes will not be tired if the time is not particularly long.
Due to the large size, I can easily view various details in the photos even if I do not view it on the computer after taking the photo. The quality of the camera on a smartphone is better than that on a phablet.
The competition among smartphone manufacturers for the camera lens is very fierce, so the quality of the photos taken by the smartphone camera is getting better and better. Many people also use smartphone camera to shoot high qulity videos with gimbals and then edit video clips using software like DaVinci Resolve.
On the 6.8-inch smartphone, it is convenient to send and receive emails, search for information and process some tasks. It is also convenient to use smartphone navigation during road trips.
A smartphone of this size is not awkward to use in daily life. It is not exaggerated to stick it near the face when making a call, and it can be easily found in a corner on a table to place it at home at any time.
Disadvantages
However, when send and receive emails and process information in large quantities, the convenience of a 6.8-inch smartphone is still inferior to that of an 8-inch phablet. If I read books and see movies on a 6.8-inch smartphone for a longer period of time, I will still lose a lot of fun, which is also inferior to the 8-inch phablet.
Although the 6.8-inch mobile phone has a large screen, it feels like a smartphone, some tasks that tend to be done on a computer or tablet will be pushed back.
The most important thing is that travelers need to understand their travel habits and actual needs, and find the most suitable size of smartphone for their daily life and travel.
