Jingpo Lake
The beauty of Jingpo Lake is underestimated. Although it is well-known and listed in the World Heritage, it does not attract as many tourists as some other world-famous lakes.
The strong feeling of Jingpo Lake is the purity from nature. The magic of the nature is to make people feel a sense of peace and power, and purify the body and mind. Jingpo Lake conveys this feeling to people’s hearts.
Jingpo Lake is located in Ning’an City, Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, China. The average water depth is 40 meters and the deepest depth can reach 60 meters.
The lake is the largest alpine barrier lake in China. It ranks second among the alpine barrier lakes in the world. When there is a layer of mist on Jingpo Lake, the scenery is more mysterious and unique. Many tourists take a ship to explore the center of the lake and enjoy the view.
Jingpo Lake is particularly beautiful at sunset. The setting sun shines on the lake, sparkling, as if the water is full of spirituality. The sky, sunset and lake merge into one.
Jingpo Waterfall
Jingpo Waterfall is a famous point of the Jingpo Lake. Jingpo Waterfall is a very stunning place. The width of this waterfall changes with the seasons. When the water volume is large, it can be more than 40 meters wide.
The waterfall became very narrow when I went there, but it was still beautiful in the afterglow of the sunset.
The waterfall was dyed pink by the sunset, and the pink in the sky blended with the color of the waterfall. The sound of the waterfall was like musical notes, giving me a refreshing feeling.
The Ancient Pharmacist Temple
The Ancient Pharmacist Temple is located on the peninsula of Jingpo Lake. It is the first Oriental Medicine Buddha Seven Buddhas sanctuary in China. Master Yicheng, President of the Chinese Buddhist Association, believes that the Ancient Pharmacist Temple is as renowned as the five sacred Buddhist mountains and the five major temples in China.
The Ancient Pharmacist Temple was rebuilt in 2001 because experts confirmed that the Oriental Medicine Buddha Seven Buddhas Sanctuary had been built in the Tang Dynasty. The seven halls of the Ancient Pharmacist Temple enshrine 31 Buddha statues and a copper bell weighing 2,500 kilograms.
A trip to Jingpo Lake is both a natural and cultural journey, a journey that nourishes the body and mind.
